A key part of the revamp of our site, is to introduce and share my love for the Porsche 911. Having driven both ripsticks and my Porsche 911 for over a decade, i absolutely appreciate what they both bring to the table and what makes them special amongst similar modes of enjoyment.

Soon to come, articles will be presented below that explore those similarities. For example, done right, both of them r a dance between balance and motion, and the transitioning between the two. There r times when I am so in the zone on my board and there is so much energy coming up through me, that i have to stop step off of the board and walk away to regain my sensibilities. I think, “what the f__k?”

When carving canyon roads in my 911 (especially in a group of fellow enthusiasts), I also stop sometimes to marvel at what i just experienced. Literally needing to step away from the car, and realize that what i felt was pure engineering soul….

What if Porsche made skateboards or airplanes? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

I’m sure that there are a lot of current or former surfers, snowboarders, and skaters out there that now drive 911’s. Represent! Tell me if I’m wrong…
