Each Sunday, the main drive thru Golden Gate Park (JFK Drive), is closed to cars and other motorized vehicles. For a while it becomes the domain of pedestrians, cyclists, boarders, runners, skaters, and an assortment of other innovative people powered tourist transport mechanisms.
When the weather is permissible, and all the stars align, I too, take advantage of this opportunity to go to the park and play in the street.
Riding @ Golden Gate Park on Sunday mornings, is truly a blessing, and exponentially so for an OG like me.
Folks often ask me what i am riding, and occasionally share how they enjoy watching me ride. Recently, as we were ending our talk after sharing with me how much she enjoyed watching what i was doing, a woman asked if it was ok if she continued watching.
These types of encounters and connections, with folks from everywhere, who have stopped and talked with me over the years are examples of ‘Why i Roll’.
So in further response to that encounter and others like it, i want to share recent video rippin it OG Ce Style @ Golden Gate Park.
The experience of riding a ripstick OG Ce Style – It’s a Beautiful Thing, at this stage in my life, is more of a blessing than i can ever hope to convey.
I appreciate that most folks on the planet have probably never seen an old grandpa flowing, this way than that, thru space, on a board with only 2 wheels. Have You?
I absolutely injoy sharing this gift that has been so graciously shared with me. It is one of the few things i InJoy doing in front of and sharing with others.
