Ripsticking in the Sky (select link for video) is another example of Why i Roll.

I have lived in this small coastal town, in northern Cali for 20+ years. I have walked along her coastal trails for the same…Yet i cannot recall ever seeing this space before, until Ms OG Ce pointed it out to me recently while we were walking.
To get to this chapel in the sky, i have to carry my board approx 2 miles, along a renowned golf course on one side and ocean waves lashing the shore on the other. Then there are the myraid of steep steeps to scale. It is a quite a workout getting there.
I’m guessing that only about 5% of folks who frequent this popular trail see this space. Its position, relatively hidden by subtle topography changes of the landscape.
As nestled as it is in the landscape, you may never notice it and walk right by it.

I can only describe the space as:
Concrete slabs, on the edge of Poseidon’s blue domain, bordered by beautifully graffitied road barriers, from another time and place…

… nestled atop mountain cliffs overlooking the pacific ocean, approaching the golden gateway to the San Francisco bay.

It is as if space aliens had mis calculated and landed their space ship camouflaged as a cool, urban setting, in the midst of this most tranquil landscape.

Somewhere in the heart of the City, there beats a natural coastal landscape, totally out of place with its surrounding by urban environment, where residents are scratching their heads, tryin to figure out how it got there and why.
